A new low voltage resin filled cable joint as a standard feature on all DOMUS ELITE SPIKE, MODULA AND DEKA Series products. This premium cable joint offers even further protection from water and moisture entering the luminaire through the cable to the LED. The joint is supplied already attached to the flylead, and provides a barrier against any water or moisture syphoning, which occurs when the fitting heats and cools during normal operation. This will also save valuable time for the electrical contractor, by not replicating this process, therefore offering peace of mind for a longer lasting outdoor luminaire.

One of the major reasons why LED Inground and Spike Lights fail prematurely, has now been resolved. Stopping water entry has now been made possible by separating the cables and providing a barrier with a polyurethane compound, housed neatly in a nylon cable joint, designed specifically for electrical insulation and protection.
