The same considered approach continues inside the home, where DOMUS products have also been incorporated throughout the kitchen, bathroom and living spaces.
Throughout the garden, ZOOM-PRO spike lights have been positioned amongst the landscaping and directed towards the newly planted trees. Their compact black form sits discreetly within the garden beds, allowing the planting and surrounding landscape to remain the focus.
Rather than illuminating the entire garden from a single position, multiple fittings are spaced along the planting areas and individually aimed towards the trees. This approach allows the landscape lighting to follow the layout of the garden, with individual fittings positioned towards different areas of planting.
The installation also shows how garden lighting can be incorporated directly amongst the planting rather than positioned separately from the landscape. During the day, the fittings remain relatively unobtrusive amongst the mulch and greenery, while their adjustable design allows the direction of the light to respond to individual elements within the garden.
While the ZOOM-PRO fittings sit amongst the landscaping, the SHADOW adjustable wall lights bring a similar black cylindrical form onto the exterior architecture of the home. Mounted against the white rendered walls, the fittings create a simple contrast while maintaining the restrained palette used throughout the property.
Their adjustable heads allow the fittings to be positioned according to the area being illuminated, offering a different approach to the ground-mounted ZOOM-PRO fittings used throughout the garden.
In the covered alfresco area, a white STRIKE-48 ceiling fan sits alongside recessed ceiling lighting. Its minimal form and white finish integrate closely with the ceiling, keeping the outdoor entertaining area visually uncluttered.

Above the kitchen island, three NEO-PRO surface-mounted downlights are aligned across the ceiling. Their cylindrical form introduces a subtle architectural feature above the island, while recessed downlights provide additional illumination throughout the surrounding kitchen and living area.
A more concealed application can be seen in the bathroom, where PLEX LED strip lighting has been incorporated beneath the mirror. The continuous line of light runs beneath the mirror, creating an even line of illumination across the vanity wall without introducing another prominent fitting into the space.
The STRIKE-48 ceiling fan also appears within the interior living areas. Using the same fan inside and in the covered alfresco creates a visual connection between the two spaces, particularly where large openings connect the home with the outdoor areas.
The Ermington Property demonstrates how different approaches to outdoor lighting can work together across a residential setting. Rather than relying on a single type of fitting, the landscape, exterior walls and covered alfresco each use products suited to their position within the property.
That approach continues indoors, where surface-mounted downlights, integrated LED strip lighting and the STRIKE-48 respond to the kitchen, bathroom and living areas. Together, the applications create a consistent relationship between the home’s interior, architecture and surrounding landscape.
